Shipping FAQs
Our Shipping Process
Prior to shipping, each of your plants undergoes a meticulous inspection and a photo session. If your plant is shipping in a nursery pot, it is then securely potted to prevent soil spillage and lovingly wrapped in Kraft paper to protect its foliage. If your plant is listed as shipping “bare root” it will be wrapped in sphagnum moss before being secured in Kraft paper and placed in a sturdy box with shredded paper for safe arrival.
Order Processing Time:
Please allow up to 5 business days for order Processing, excluding shipping time in transit. We process orders 7 days a week and ship Monday-Wednesday to ensure your order spends as little time in transit as possible. While we cannot control shipping delays, inclement weather, or shipping carrier mishandling, you will be provided with a tracking number once your order has been shipped.
Please Keep in Mind:
Your new plant may exhibit initial cosmetic damage, such as browning tips or yellowing of leaves. These are normal responses to the stress of the transit and shipping of live plants. With proper care, your plant will quickly outgrow any shipping related blemishes. Familiarize yourself to provide the correct light, humidity, and water upon arrival.
Nurturing your New Plants:
Once your new plant arrives, please message us within 3 hours of delivery if there are any concerns with the health and appearance. In the unlikely event of severe damage during transit of your new plant, please document it with photos of the box's exterior, all shipment materials, and the plant to assist in expediting the Insurance Claim process.
